One mans junk is another mans treasure is an appropriate way to describe sea glass. For eons man has used the oceans to discard trash throwing away glass bottles of all sorts, beer, wine soda, medicine, even ships port lights. lenses, dishware and plate glass. It is this discarded material which in time is returned to us as sea glass.

The glass impacts on the oceans shores breaking into shards which in turn through the years are eroded by the action of the waves churning the glass among the sand and rocks polishing and shaping these shards into unique hues, shapes and sizes.

The sea glass is collected from New England shores primarily on Aquidneck Island in Rhode Island. The collected glass is then cleaned, sanitized and graded by size, thickness and color. It is interesting to note that less then ten percent of the collected glass is usable and no two pieces are the same all having different shapes.  It
may be observed that in a set of earrings the sea glass used though similar are different and that none of the offered pieces are the same each being unique in its own way.

Amongst the sea glass harvested there are finds of highly finished and   polished pieces that are quite valuable and rare but for the most part the sea glass that we offer is of a more bountiful supply and relatively inexpensive as compared to other sources of sea glass jewelry.

You must be mindful that when purchasing any of our offerings though we try to reproduce each piece as exact as possible there will be some difference.  Because of the uniqueness of the glass each piece is truly one of a kind.

The following presentation of our product is not artistic in the sense that there are   no detractions such as silver wire, charms, ect. The sea glass component is shown as it was harvested from the sea with the only modification being a drilled hole, the color and shape is natural and as found.

Shipping unless specifically noted is free within the Continental USA.
